Please do the following:

LAND

• Read Hidden Treasures in Land Tax Assessment Records.
• Print out the form for LTA Research.
• Print out and do the assignment for Land Tax Assessments.
• Read English Deeds for Genealogists: Yorkshire Only.
• Print out and do the assignment for Yorkshire Registry of Deeds.

NATURALIZATION

• Check out HO1 in the Kew Lists.
• Please remeber that there's no such thing as citizenship in the United Kingdom. The people are subjects and can be naturalized (full rights) only by an Act of Parliament or endenizoned (partial rights). An index to all naturalizations and denizations appears in HO1/Index.

EMIGRATION AND IMMIGRATION

• Read British Emigration and Immigration.
• Read Emigration and Immigration Records in England and check out the link
• Print out this page and note below your comments about two or three different PRO classes you were able to find in the Kew Lists described in British Emigration and Immigration handout (for example, MH12 -- tell what it is, how it's organized, and how it could be useful in family history research).
